- A Data/Monte-Carlo comparison on background events is presented for the tau reconstruction algorithms cell-based and PanTau as well as for tau identification against jets. The reconstruction algorithms follow a particle-flow based approach to identify the decay modes of tau leptons and to improve energy resolution. The studied objects are recoil jets from Z to µµ events.
