Kurzfassung

One possibility for the central tracker of a detector for the International Linear Collider is a Time Projection Chamber (TPC). An endplate module for a prototype was designed and constructed consisting of a stack of 3 Gas Electron Multipliers and 8 Timepix chips. This module was placed in the TPC and the setup was tested in various environments with the 5 GeV electron test beam at DESY. The data was analysed with the framework MarlinTPC (Modular Analysis & Reconstruction for the LINear Collider).
